Kerlyss is fundamentally a local-first application. We do not run any centralized backend servers, and we do not collect, sell, or monetize your personal data.

• Local Storage: Your playlists, settings, and listening history are stored securely on your local device.
• Cloud Sync (Google Drive): If you explicitly opt-in to the Cloud Sync feature, Kerlyss requests permission to access a hidden, app-specific folder (drive.appdata) within your personal Google Drive. We only read and write your playlist and settings data to this specific folder to synchronize your devices. We cannot see, access, or modify any of your personal files, photos, or emails stored elsewhere in your Google Drive.

3. Third-Party Services

Kerlyss interfaces with third-party APIs (such as YouTube and Deezer) solely for the purpose of retrieving audio streams and metadata. We do not pass your personal identity to these services. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more information.
